Unmanned Aircraft Launched from NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson - October 29, 2008
Scientists have successfully launched and retrieved an unmanned aircraft from the NOAA ship Oscar Dyson this month, preparing for a planned expedition to study ice seals in the Bering Sea in the spring of 2009.

Arctic Unmanned Stakeholder Meetings

August 26-27, 2008 - Anchorage, Alaska

October 16-17, 2007 - Fairbanks, Alaska - Final Report - This meeting is intended to give regional experts, past participants and other interested parties a venue to provide ideas and input into NOAA's UAS mission planning. The objective is to facilitate interagency cooperation and collaboration between agencies with similar requirements or related missions.
